National ICT Internship Program
PSEB, Ministry of IT & Telecom has launched a new internship program for the recent ICT Graduates. Internship duration is 04 months and PSEB is paying following stipends; ICT Graduates = Rs.16,000/- per month, Non-ICT Graduates = Rs.12,000/- per month.
Criteria For The Selection Of Students For The National ICT Internship Program
Pakistan Software Export Board in collaboration with the National ICT R&D Fund Company is offering opportunity of internship for the educated youth of Pakistan through National ICT Internship Program to enhance their employability. Cvs of the students will be shortlisted as per the below criteria and ICT organizations from public & private sector will be given access to the Cvs of shortlisted candidates for selection as per their demands.
ELIGIBILITY
- Educated youth having 12-18 years of education from the recognized universities/institutions.
- Must be the permanent resident of Pakistan as per NADRA record & fulfill following criteria Students from rural Areas
Students from rural Areas
- CGPA for ICT youth of fall 2010 or later (2.0/4 or at least 50% marks)
- %age for Non-ICT students of fall 2008 or later (at least 50% marks)
Students from urban Areas
- CGPA for ICT youth of fall 2010 or later (2.5/4 or 65% marks)
- %age for Non-ICT youth of fall 2008 or later (at least 65% marks)
Duration Of Internship: Four Month
Choice Of Place For Internship
- Islamabad/Rawalpindi
- Karachi
- Lahore
- Others (to be specified by the students)
Stipend:
ICT youth having 16-18 years of education * Rs.16,000/- per month Non-ICT youth having 12-14 years of education * Rs.12,000/- per month
ICT Fields:
Bachelors degree in ICT discipline (BCS, BS-IT, Telecom Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Electronic Engineer), Masters degrees in ICT discipline (MCS, MS-IT, MBA-IT) & PGD.
Non-ICT Fields:
Higher secondary school certificate, intermediate (F.A, F.Sc), A-level, technical diplomas equivalent to intermediate, D.Com (12 years) or B.A, B.Sc, B.Com (14-years)
Certificate:
The interns will be awarded experience certificates on successful completion of internship.

Provincial Quota:
While selection of the students for the internship program, provincial quota will be strictly observed.
Last date for receipt of applications:
This will be an on-going process and the graduates can apply at any time during the life of the project which is 24 months, however cut off date for the receipt of the application under this program is 30th June, 2014. The preferred option for candidate is to apply only on line through website by CLICKING HERE. The on-line mode will be in best interest of candidates, which will facilitate prompt processing of the applications, their placement and immediate response. However, candidates genuinely having no computer access can apply through hard copy by postal mail using application form available at website CLICK HERE.
